A 2-hour beginners group class to try out throwing pots on the wheel
Service Description
In this fun 2-hour session you will learn the basics of throwing a pot, in a group with up to 4 other people. Everyone will have their own dedicated potter's wheel. You'll begin by centring the clay, opening it up, then lifting the sides to create a bowl. Most people make 2 bowls during this lesson. Your pots will then be dried and bisque fired and will be ready to glaze about a month later. Why not book a glazing session so you can use our wide range of paint on glazes on your pots? Or we can clear glaze them for you, free of charge. They then have a final firing, and will be ready to pick up around 2 weeks later.
